We are the regional governing body representing member clubs across Surrey, Coquitlam to Pitt Meadows, the Fraser Valley and Hope, here to support women and girls in the sport at every level.
From organizing tournaments and facilitating interclub team competition to delivering rules and skills clinics, the Zone 3 Women’s Committee of BC Golf keeps the game active and accessible across the region. Junior girls development is a particular priority, and we work year-round to build pathways that welcome the next generation into the sport.
Our mission is to deliver current, easy-to-access information that empowers women and girls to participate in golf while fostering inclusive, supportive environments across the zone. Whether you’re stepping onto a course for the first time or competing for a spot at a provincial championship, the Zone 3 Women’s Committee is here to make sure you have the resources you need and the community behind you.

Women’s golf in Surrey, Coquitlam to Pitt Meadows, the Fraser Valley and Hope is part of a well-connected structure that runs from your home club all the way to the provincial level. Here’s how it fits together.

BC Golf is the Provincial Sport Organization, recognized by the Government of British Columbia and ViaSport. BC Golf oversees amateur championships, the World Handicap System, and the eight regional zones that govern play across the province. As a Zone 3 member, you benefit from that provincial framework, with funding and resources flowing through to support everything from junior development to tournament operations.

The Zone 3 Women’s Committee is a volunteer-led executive dedicated to women’s golf across Surrey, Coquitlam to Pitt Meadows, the Fraser Valley and Hope. Each year, we run three tournaments, coordinate interclub team match play across three competitive divisions plus the Business Women’s division, and deliver rules and skills clinics throughout the season. Funding from BC Golf allows us to invest in junior girls development, provide prize money for tournament winners, and make participation possible for women and girls at every stage of the game.

The Zone 3 Women’s Committee is home to 20 active member clubs spanning Surrey, Coquitlam to Pitt Meadows, the Fraser Valley and Hope. Each club has its own women’s group and captain, and together they form the heart of our community. From weekly play days to competitive interclub matches, these clubs are where friendships are built, skills grow, and a love for the game is passed on.
